When you are in care your local authority has to provide you with certain help and has to listen to what you want. This section contains lots of information about what you can do if you’re not happy with your care placement and what you can do if your local authority is not providing you with the care that you need.

This section also includes information on what your rights are if you are leaving care, including what you can do if you have left care and aren’t getting the help that you need.
